I devote this song to all the pot-bellied, mullet haired, self-styled rock-legends that used to come into the music shop in which I worked years ago to bang on about how they could ‘feel the spirit’ in the wood of their guitars….yeah ok mate.
Originally, this song was written around 2005 but I shelved it because, as is often the case, I got interested in working on something else. I usually have about 4 songs in development at any one time. I resurrected it about 6 months ago and decided to see it through. It will eventually be on a new album that I’m working on at the moment.

Weekend Warrior by Quadraphonic All Stars
Published January 4, 2011 | Having had quite a bit of time off from my real job over Christmas and the New Year, I took the opportunity to work on a song that I originally wrote back in 2005 called ‘Weekend Warrior’. I started work on the recording early last year and shelved it but decided to resurrect it in a moment of madness. It just needs a few overdubs and mixing and it will be ready to be released into the big wide world.

Published October 25, 2010 | I wrote this cautionary song about I guy that I used to know who had a relationship with a female work colleague. When it turned sour, she accused him of sexual harassment and he was sacked. He had a nervous breakdown as a result and went to live in a mud hut in Africa……true
